Unoaked Chardonnay is a dry and lean white wine. The unoaked version of this grape does not have the buttery and creamy texture of oaked Chardonnay. Famous areas include Burgundy in France, Western Australia, California and Oregon in USA. Characterized by its steely minerality, crisp acidity and flavours of citrus and pear.
