Tawny Port

Tawny Port is a sweet fortified wine, made from red grapes and aged in oak barrels. It is produced exclusively in the Douro Valley in Portugal. It is more sweet and less fruity than Ruby Port. Characteristic flavours of nuts, figs, dried fruit and caramel. The longer the Tawny Port ages, the more nutty it becomes.
